CLUB HISTORY
“Bunyodkor” football club (former Kuruvchi) was founded 6 July 2005 and named “FC BUNYODKOR”. In the 2005 “Kuruvchi” took a part in Tashkent city championship and Tashkent city Cup. “Kuruvchi” won Tashkent City Cup 2005 and promoted to Second League (Third level) Final Tournament. “Kuruvchi” took first place and promoted to First League (Second Level)
In the 2006 “Kuruvchi” won First League tournament and promoted to Premiership (First Level). “Kuruvchi” don’t have star players, squad was based on local youth players but “Kuruvchi” shown a very good performance and celebrated win. Head coach Khikmat Ergashev worked hard and met the goal
It was great success. “Kuruvchi” had repeated record of “Semurg” (Angren, Tashkent region), “Academia” (Tashkent), and “Tupalang” (Sarassiya, Surkhandarya region) and promoted from Second League to Premiership just for two years.
“Kuruvhi” played 38 matches: 27 won, 5 drawn and 6 lost, and took the first place in the league. “Kuruvchi” scored 94 goals (49 in home matches and 45 in away matches, average 2, 54 per match) and allowed 32 goals (10 in home matches and 22 in away matches, average 0,86 per match). “Kuruvchi” players was cautioned 63 times and sent off 6 times. Record score (6:0) was in the matches against “Syrdarya” (Syrdarya region) and “Miyonkol” (Samarkand region).
